The night before he died, Jesus left his disciples with this command,

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13: 34 & 35
The whole of John 13 is wonderful to read if you are so inclined. My favorite call out besides the above, Jesus, knowing full well that Judas would betray him, washed Judas’ feet any way… That will tweak your melon I dare say if you ruminate on it enough.
